Pete Wehner has a really nice post on suffering here, with some kind words on the chapter on suffering in True Paradox.

    Greetings my friend,

I just got done listening to you on the radio. Well done sir. Kirby always has interesting guest, and I enjoy his radio show very much. Unfortunately, the majority of what I’m hearing from him and his guest have as its foundation, a falsehood.

For sixteen hundred plus years Athanasius’ “the Son is God” creation has led people astray from the simplicity of Yeshua’s “Jesus”” doctrine. The message (although I only heard the last ten minutes of it) you delivered today sits on that foundation.

The people choosing to build on that foundation have no choice but to make everything they say and do support it. The Biblically correct way would be to have the foundation supporting it.

I pray you take the time to visit what God has placed in my care concerning the matter.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

    God bless.

    In His Care…Jim

    Thoroughly enjoying your book.
I’d like to offer some feedback on p.94: “…although Job repeatedly asks God for an explanation of suffering and evil, God never gives him one.”
Your attention is drawn to Chapter 40:6-14. Tl;dr => “Pony up your own universe, and we’ll talk.”
Individual humans are free to feel this is an unsatisfying reply, but that’s not the same as no answer at all.
    Blessings,
    Chris
